Beliefs are uncertain for many in today’s world, here at The Lamp Ministries, we are a church that is built on core principles and life shaping foundations.
We Believe
Salvation
We believe, while we were still sinners, God demonstrated his love for us by offering a perfect sacrifice for our sins, His only begotten son Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53:10; Romans 5:8). We are saved by the grace of God through faith, and salvation is a gift from God which is freely given (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:5).
Baptism
We believe, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance (Acts 2:1-4, 37-39)
One God
We believe, the scripture clearly teaches that there is One God who revealed Himself in three manifestations – Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Spirit in the church. Therefore. we believe, embrace, and promote the Oneness of the Godhead of Christ Jesus.
Communion
We believe, in Holy Communion as instructed in I Corinthians 11:23-34, Paul instructed the church how to observe the Lord's Supper. The Lord’s Supper is a visual representation of the Good News of the death of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins, of the new covenant that He has established, and of His return.
Our Vision
Our vision as servants of Jesus Christ is to perform the good works that God planned for us to do, transforming the lives of others inspiring them to live holy as workers in the Kingdom of God.
Our Mission
Our mission is to make disciples of others, offer encouragement and empowerment to those in despair, and transform lives in our community, nation, and the world by teaching and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
